Britney Spears re-releasing Baby One More Time?
The very first Britney Spears hit, “Baby One More Time” was released back on October 23rd, 1998 and it shot up to number one. Ten years later, Britney is coming full circle with “Womanizer” reaching number one as well.
According to this site, Britney Spears has been spending weeks at the International Dance Studio, not only to rehearse for her coming tour in general but also to put together a dance routine for a new, updated version of “Baby One More Time”.
The vocals have been re-recorded with a more modern feel while still maintaining everything that made it a hit song the first time around, and will simply be named “One More Time”. Someone from the studio said:
“[The song] is for an upcoming concert performance to promote her new album. It is likely that this could be a bonus track on her upcoming CD. […] The track sounds hot. A lot more mature than the original, and very modern.”
Britney’s all grown up now and has changed a lot since her debut ten years ago. It will be interesting to hear this new version, I can’t wait until it’s released!
